regression analysis showed positive or negative association with
Douglas-fir - w. hemlock - red cedar forest, elevation (hex. avg.),
topographic variation, the extent of public land, April precipitation
(hex. avg.), April precipitation (hex. min.), and-to a lesser degree-
towns and cities, April minimum temperature (hex. max.), and April
minimum temperature (hex. med.).
